The FBI's official investigation, commissioned after Senator Harrison Schmitt's request. Rommel's final report concluded natural predation explained most cases. Critics noted the investigation's geographic and temporal scope was deliberately narrow.

Secretary Hegseth confirmed in February 2026 that AARO's active caseload had exceeded 2,000 reports. Significant because it represented a near-tripling of the publicly acknowledged caseload within 18 months.

Congressional UAP Hearing — September 2025
U.S. House of Representatives Oversight Committee (September 2025)
The second major Congressional UAP hearing. Featured testimony from military whistleblowers including accounts of transmedium UAP behavior, a Hellfire missile video showing an unidentified object maneuvering in ways inconsistent with known aircraft, and testimony from witness Wiggins describing craft transitioning between air and water without deceleration.

Immaculate Constellation — Alleged SAP Program Documentation
Whistleblower disclosure / Congressional record (2024–2025)
A Special Access Program allegedly dedicated to UAP retrieval and reverse engineering, referenced in whistleblower testimony and Congressional briefings. The name entered the public record through David Grusch's testimony and subsequent Congressional follow-up. The program's existence has not been officially confirmed or denied.
